Public Houses in Far Cotton by Val Robins-Dawkins

After the Promfret Arms in Cotton End there is The Railway Tavern which is still there, if you go along St Leonards Road you come to Haines Road

and on the corner of Haines Road and Southampton Road you have The Golden Horse which is still there.  We now go along Main Road and you

have Far Cotton Working Mens club. The Clinton Arms was on the corner of Clinton Road. Now for the part of Far Cotton the was pulled down at the

bottom of Delapre Street there was The Hind next came Henley Street no pub but next was Rickard Street where we had The Rose and Crown go up

Rickard Street and on the corner with Letts Road was The Engineer go along Letts Road to the bottom half of Oxford Street and you had The Eagle hows

that for pubs in just 4 streets.
