Terry Mason remembers,
"If you look at it in the top left corner, the white building is the Jolly Smoker's on the Mayorhold (Merald).
The centre of the picture there is a lamp-post with a wall in front of it, the snow covered ground behind it, is Windsor Terrace.
To the right of the picture, the washing in the back garden is my mothers and we lived at 9,Horsemarket Gardens. I was born there.
The picture was taken from the dress factory in King Street.
Horsemarket Cottages was opposite the " Relay radio" (cable radio) between St mary's street and Groses Garage it was covered up by boardings for years."
